Welcome at Nanette’s Apartments!
Since 1993 many content guests have enjoyed their stay at Nanette’s Appartementen in Bergen. The building consists of 8 spacious apartments and two studios. The apartments are modern and comfortably furnished. They have their own terrace or balcony. Situated at walking distance from the centre of Bergen, you will find the beach, sea, forest, dunes and typical Dutch country side (polder) in the surroundings.
Apartments
The 8 apartments consist of a combined living room with kitchen and a separate bedroom, bathroom and toilet. The apartments are suitable for 2 to 4 persons. In some of the apartments pets are allowed. Next to the apartments we offer also two 2-person single-room studio’s.
Free parking is available directly in front of our building, or in the direct surroundings. In the back of the garden we have a bike shed for your bikes.
You will find our apartments well cleaned, with beds made and towels and kitchen towels included, which can be renewed during your stay.

The complex consist of eight apartments and 2 smaller studios. The complex is divided into three types.
These apartments are on the ground floor. The ones facing the garden have outside seats and table. Layout: Living room with kitchen, bedroom, bathroom with shower and toilet.
These apartments are on the first floor. Layout: Living room with kitchen, bedroom, bathroom with shower and toilet. The apartments have a balcony facing the south.
A single room apartment. The studios facing the street and lie at the first floor. The studios have a balcony.

These prices are including cleaning charges, towels, tea towels, wireless internet. The prices do not include tourist tax, which is €1,30 per person per night.
In the high season only rental from Friday to Friday is possible.

Long term rent is also possible at our apartments.
Besides apartments Nanette’s also rents a summer house (2-4 pers.), available from € 450 per week. Please contact us for more information.
Summer house
For those guests who are looking for a bigger residence, Nanette’s Appartementen can offer a garden house / summerhouse. The house has a living room, kitchen, bathroom, three bedrooms and a private garden facing the south. Ideal for bigger families or just for when you are looking for more space. The summerhouse is equipped with TV, audio set, internet, towels, kitchen towels and bed linen. The house is situated in a quiet lane, a stone’s throw from Bergen’s historic centre.
Surrounding area
Bergen is a quiet and artistic country side village, 5 kilometers from the North Sea beach. Bergen and its art are strongly connected. This can be experienced with a visit to Museum Kranenburg, that exhibits a large collection of the Bergen School. But also when going for a walk in the park Meerwijk with its distinctive architecture from the Amsterdam School. The Bergen community organizes several art events, such as the art fair on Thursday evenings in summer and the kunst-10-daagse (10 days of art) when Bergen’s residents open their doors for art-galleries.
Next to art, Bergen has more on display. At a distance of 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) you will find the beach of Bergen-aan-Zee, with its adjacent forests and dune area. Bergen has many restaurants and a city centre with many small shops.During the summer months, many festivities take place in Bergen. Such as the “Lichtjesavond” when the residents of Bergen decorate their gardens with candles. And Jazz&Sail a 3 day event with a regatta at sea during the day and a jazz festival in the evening in the town.
Beautiful nature areas can be explored in Bergen’s surroundings. The dunes and heath lands cover an area stretching from Egmond to Camperduin. In the springtime many flowers such as hyacinths, tulips, and crocuses can be enjoyed in the nearby flower-fields.
At a distance of 8 kilometer (5 miles) lies the medieval town of Alkmaar, where, during the summer months, the famous cheese market is held. In the Zuiderzee museum in Enkhuizen a historical fisherman’s village can be visited. Here one can enter antique buildings such as a smoke-house, dwellings and shops.
For those looking for more active recreation, Bergen offers plenty of opportunities. Mountain-biking in the dunes, kite-surfing at the beach or playing golf at the 18-hole golf course adjacent to Bergen are just a few of the possibilities.
Amsterdam is also very easy to reach. From Alkmaar, every fifteen minutes a train departs to Amsterdam Central Station. (40 minutes).
